Happy July!!!

Ben and I ventured out to the Baltimore zoo yesterday. Fortunately, the weather was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, everyone else thought it was perfect too. It was pretty crowded but it didn't stop us from having a good time. We packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed seeing our animal friends. Actually, it was probably more like "glancing" at our animal friends. Ben doesn't like to spend too much time on one animal. We were there for three and a half hours but I think we spent about 10 minutes looking at animals. As soon as we'd spot one, he'd say "let's go find other animals". His dad thinks he gets this sense of urgency from me. I think he's just a typical three year old with limited attention span. Either way, he's super cute so it doesn't matter.

We're gearing up for the 4th of July weekend. We don't really have solid plans other than attending Ben's friend's birthday party on Sunday. Should be a good time. It's always a good time when the three of us get to play together!
