It's a rainy day here in Frederick, MD. This morning Ben and I went to the grocery store. While we were there, he told me a joke that he made up.
Ben - knock, knock
Me - who's there?
Ben - big
Me - big who?
Ben - big cheese!
He laughed hysterically as did I - what a funny little guy. The joke itself isn't that funny (okay, not funny at all) but the fact that he is making up and telling jokes before 3 years old totally cracks me up.

I've decided to put Chops on a strict diet. Not sure how that's going to work since one of Ben's favorite hobbies is sharing his food with her. Today he informed me that Chops likes water. That wasn't a problem but he was giving her water out of his water bottle - I turned around and she was licking the straw. Needless to say, the straw went directly into the garbage can followed by, "mommy, my straw, I need it".

I love every day with this great little guy!
