What another great day with Ben!

He spent most of the day talking about preschool. He is so excited about it. He asked if he would be taking a bus to school. I explained I would be driving him and picking him up but I think he would prefer a bus, a yellow one. He asked if his friend Cal was going to his preschool. Unfortunately, Cal will be attending a different school but I assured Ben he will make lots of new friends at his school.

Daddy was able to escape from work early today so the three of us went out to dinner. We went to Glory Days Grill, one of Ben's favorites. It doesn't compare to the Green Turtle, but he still likes it quite a bit. During dinner Ben decided to start laughing super loud. Several people came over to see what he was laughing about. He offered no explanation, just laughed harder. What a ham!

Ben's new thing to do at bedtime is to tell me he is scared of a dinosaur. The dinosaur varies in color from night to night. Tonite the dinosaur was chartreuse. Where does he come up with this stuff? Every night I assure him that if there were a dinosaur, Chops would have scared it off. His confidence in Chops allows him to fall asleep peacefully.

I'm looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday. I have so much to be thankful for, especially my great little guy!
