"I don't like alligators at the zoo". Ben told me this several times today. I'm not sure what prompted this remark. I responded by telling him he didn't need to like the alligators at the zoo. I wasn't sure how else to respond.
Today we made cookies. I gave Ben a chunk of dough, a rolling pin and a Christmas tree cookie cutter. He actually did a pretty good job. He made two cookies and insisted they have finger marks in them. Yummy! As the cookies were cooling, he asked if he could have one. Before I had a chance to answer, I saw his cute little hand reaching for one and shoving it in his mouth. He ate five more after that. I know it's not the healthiest thing for him to be eating, but at least he's eating something.
Tonight Ben watched his favorite show, Soul Train. He tried out some of his new dance moves. Dad asked him to throw out a banana peel for him and he danced all the way to the garbage can - he's just too cute for words!!
