There are a lot of really cool restaurants downtown, but I'll probably never get to any of them as long as Ben is obsessed with dining at the Green Turtle. Ben and I headed downtown today because we both have a bit of cabin fever. We parked in our favorite parking garage and Ben asked if we'd be taking the "alligator" that's his word for elevator. We boarded the alligator and headed on our journey. When we arrived at the Green Turtle, there was much debate between Ben and himself regarding a highchair versus booster seat. He finally decided on a booster seat and we grabbed a table. As we were munching on pretzels, Ben's favorite, the hostess came over and told me that Ben was the cutest thing she had ever seen. She told me everyone in the back was talking about how cute he is. In addition to the pretzels, Ben and I ate this up. As we were leaving Ben scored a balloon - he'd give the Green Turtle 5 stars any day. After lunch we headed to the candy store so Ben could get his lollipop. This seems to be his new after dinner (or lunch) routine. Then we hit a few cute shops before heading back home. Ben has been sleeping for almost three hours now - I guess the excitement of the Turtle and cool air wore him out. He is such a fun person - I just love him to pieces!!!
