Ben and I have had a fun week. We met his friend Cal at the Monocacy Battlefield on Wednesday. It doesn't sound like an appropriate place to take children, but Ben and his friend had fun. They spent most of their time running around in the grass at the visitor center. Wednesday night we had our friends Dave and Wendy over for a St. Patrick's Day dinner. We served Irish stew. Ben, of course, decided to just have crackers and milk for dinner. He was a big hit with our friends. He told a few stories and even winked at them a few times. He's such a good little guy. Thursday, Ben went to his Wiggles and Giggles class at the Little Gym. One of the moms commented on what a great listener Ben is and another mom told me he was the most adorable thing she had ever seen. He was being a bit of a ham, showing off his sports skills. Ben is really interested in golf. He plays it at his Mini Jacks class, on the Wii and with his own set of clubs. He's getting quite good at it - I'm sure he'll be joining his dad on the course very soon. Today we went to our class at the YMCA. Ben had a great time and didn't want to leave, as usual. We have a fun weekend planned. We're having friends over tomorrow night and Ben is attending Abigail's first birthday party on Sunday. How fun!!!
