Today is my niece Samonster's birthday - I like her.
Ben has had a busy week. He had his two classes at the Little Gym, his art class and his class at the YMCA. I didn't think this was possible, but he is getting cuter by the day!
He finished up golf at his Little Jacks class this week. The teacher taped the class and invited all the moms to come in for the last ten minutes to watch the video. The tots loved seeing themselves on "TV". Ben was especially excited every time he appeared on screen. It's so fun to see how proud he is of himself, as he should be.
Tuesday's art class was fun. The teacher read a story about Navajo Indians and then the kids made a "rug". Ben loved getting messy and did a great job with his project. After class we headed to the playground for lots of fun.
I recently found Ben jumping on the couch. I asked him if he thought that was something he was allowed to do and he responded yes. When I asked him who told him it was okay to jump on the couch, he said Chops. Poor Chops - still getting blamed for things.
We have a fun weekend coming up. We're having our friends Janice and Austin come for a visit for a few days. They aren't really "kid people" but I know they will have a blast hanging out with Ben.
We have decided to put potty training on hold for a week or two. Ben will sit on the potty but won't make any deposits. I'm thinking of investing in a potty doll to help with the process. I wish there was a camp I could send him to!
Off to get some rest - I'm a bit tired after waking to the sound of Ben's sweet little voice saying, "is everyone sleeping in here?" as he came running into our room this morning. I prefer him over any alarm clock!
