Today is our good friend Kathy's birthday - she's really fun.

Ben and I spent the day preparing for our guests. Aunt Monster, Cronster and Grandma are coming to town tomorrow. Ben is so excited! I'm glad one of us is...hee hee. Ben is anxious to show them how he sits on the potty. I decided since my mom had five kids and my sister had two, they should be able to get Ben potty trained for me - they should be experts. We have been working on potty training for a little over a week. Ben enjoys wearing big boy underwear and sitting on the potty, but no deposits as of yet. I'm sure we'll get there.

We found out a few weeks ago that Chops is really sick and may be leaving us sooner than we expected. It's sad to think about so we are focusing on all the fun times she has provided to us. Tonight she and Ben played chase in the kitchen. Chops hasn't had the energy to do that for a while. It was fun to see them both having fun. I'm not sure how I'm going to explain all of this to Ben. He really does enjoy having her around, to blame her for things if nothing else.
