Finally, after months of waiting, we have broken ground on our new home. If all goes as planned, we will be moving in just in time to celebrate Ben's fourth birthday. We went to check out the progress today. The hole has been dug and the footers were poured. When we arrived, Ben said, "is this all there is?" Poor little guy thought we were moving into a muddy hole. After a brief lesson in construction, he got the gist of things and was excited. We showed him where the basement will be and most importantly the yard where he will be able to play. We are all pretty excited and looking forward to getting out of our temporary housing. Let's hope for uneventful weather and no labor strikes over the next 90 days!
