Play ball....or engines!

Friday night we took Ben to a baseball game. We hooked up with his friends Wyatt and Jakob, along with their wonderful parents. The game started at 7pm and the three little guys were total troopers - hanging in there until 10:30pm to see the fireworks after the game. While the adults enjoyed some baseball, the guys found playing with Thomas the Train engines to be a little more engaging. From time to time they would take a break and pretend to be interested in the game. Once the fireworks started, their sweet little faces watched in awe as the vibrant colors exploded in the sky. We took Ben to a game last summer and maybe spent 5 minutes in our seats and left after the third inning. It's amazing what a difference a year makes. Maybe next summer he'll actually want to watch the game!
