A little Hope....

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Saturday we went to Hope's house. Hope is a friend of Ben's from preschool. Her parents, Stacy and Daryl, are two of the nicest people we have ever met. Ben was a little concerned before we went that he would be stuck playing with "toy babies". Apparently, that is what he calls baby dolls. But, much to his satisfaction, there were no toy babies to be found. Instead, he and Hope zipped around the backyard in Hope's barbie jeep. Hope did most of the driving but once Ben got behind the wheel, things quickly became crazy. He's not much of a driver. He would floor it and then slam on the brake. I thought poor Hope would need a neckbrace by the time they were done. But, they had a blast. And, Ben was laughing so hard, everyone else had no choice but to join in. He was doing his super loud, cackle laugh.

On Sunday we went to Jakob's house to celebrate Jakob's dad's 40th birthday. Ben had a great time playing with Jakob and Jakob's three cousins, all boys! We literally had to drag him out of there, kicking and screaming! We barely got out of the driveway before my little pal was passed out in his car seat. Too cute!

Monday we stayed close to home. Ben helped his dad with some yardwork while Daphne and I soaked up some rays. It was a great way to end a three day weekend with my two favorite guys and my sweet furry girl
