Summer Fun!

We've been busy enjoying our summer! Ben has been taking swim lessons. He "swims" four mornings a week. This is quite a time committment but he loves it! Hopefully, he will advance to the next level after this week. He is currently in the Pike class and hopes to get into the Eel class next week. He is taking lessons with his friend Jakob, which makes it even more fun!

We have also joined Beaver Creek Country Club. Ben loves to make a beaver face every time we go there. They have a great pool for Ben and me to play in and golf course for Ben and dad to enjoy. We went to the driving range yesterday and Ben has quite a swing. This has inspired dad to get Ben a set of golf clubs. I told them next time we go, I'll be lounging at the pool. The only thing more boring than watching someone golf is watching those two play golf!!

We went to see fireworks for the 4th of July. It's funny how Ben will tell me I am talking too loudly around the house and cover his ears, but he has no problem listening to the loud booming of fireworks. Hmmmmmm.

This weekend we are off to Ohio. We'll be staying with Grandma but visiting Uncle Don and Aunt Heidi on Friday and Aunt Monster on Saturday. Grandma will be coming back to Maryland with us for a few days and Aunt Monster will be joining the fun the middle of the week. Ben told me last night that Aunt Monster gives him too many kisses and he would like to keep it to four kisses per visit. Not sure how that's going to go over with Aunt Monster.
