Last night marked the very first Beckett family movie night. We rented the movie "Up", put on our pajamas and cuddled on the couch to watch it. Ben thought it was great! Dad and I had more fun watching Ben's expressions than we did watching the movie.
Today we went to the beach. I like the idea of a beach, but in reality, I'm not much of a beach bum. Ben looked super cute in his bathing suit. When we arrived, we coated his ivory white skin with 85 SPF sunscreen. Not long after getting him covered head to toe, he decided to roll around in the sand. So, he looked like a three foot piece of sandpaper roaming around. Or, maybe more like a piece of breaded Ben. He and Dad spent most of the time in the water while I soaked up some sun.
We're all a little tired after our afternoon of fun in the sun. Hopefully a nap is in our future.
