On January 20, 2011, we added a very special creature to our family. We discovered Daphne at a shelter in Charles Town, WV. The shelter believes her to be part airedale terrier and part border collie. We have found her to be 100% awesome dog!!! Her age is estimated at just about one year old, she definitely still has her puppy energy. Within a few days of living with us, she fit right in and seems like she has lived here forever. Ben absolutely adores her and refers to her as Daph-a-knee. He also calls her beaver face from time to time because of her severe overbite. We are so happy to have her and I look forward to watching her and Ben grow up together.
